Places you won’t find candy:

It was a typical Thursday evening. I was minding my own business shopping at Target. When I noticed a little girl sitting in a cart with her mother nearby. She was a cute little thing maybe close to two in age. I waved at her, and she smiled and waved back. It brought a smile to my face briefly. I continued shopping near by. However a brief moment later,  I noticed what appeared to be her brother of about 9 in age, come up to her and whisper in her ear.  She immediately followed by sticking her hands into her diaper, and that made me turn away.

Her mother came right up to her.

“Get your hands out of your diaper right now young lady!!” she yelled.

The little girls eyes filled with tears. The mom clenched her face very slowly and sighed.

“Did you brother tell you there was candy in your diaper again??

The little girl proceeded to nod sobbing a little. The mother turned to her son and screamed at him.

“What did I tell you about telling your sister there was candy in her diaper?  What is wrong with you?”

Now personally that’s a new one for me…

A typical Thursday indeed.
